26 weeks!

I'm 26 weeks!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 26 Weeks
Size of baby: Cora Jane is the size of an eggplant.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I feel like I've grown a lot over the past week.  We will find out Wednesday how much I've gained.
Maternity Clothes:I wear maternity clothes along with Donny's t-shirts.
Gender: It's a GIRL! Cora Jane (double name)
Stretch Marks: Thankfully none yet!
Belly button in or out: It is still in!
Movement: She has been practicing her gymnastics over the past couple of days.  Today in church she was so active.  I enjoy this part the most.
Sleep: Sleep is good as long as I'm asleep.  I think Cora Jane is already trying to get me on her schedule.  We have both been awake around 4 AM the past several mornings.
What I miss: I miss being able to sleep late in the summer.
Cravings: This past week I was on a hamburger kick.  I had three hamburgers in two days.  They were so yummy!  I have also wanted a cupcake.  I still drink lemonade everyday!!!!
Symptoms: My hunger is back.  I have to eat often, but I can't eat too much because I get full quickly.  My hips have really bothered me this week.  Sometimes it has been difficult to get out of bed at night to go to the bathroom.
Best Moment this week: The best part of the week has been going to register and getting my first baby shower going.  I can't wait to see what my family has in store.

Donny claims that I'm trying to freeze him.  I am hot and keep our bedroom pretty cool.  Even though I find it comfortable I still wake up sometimes sweating.  Poor Donny...this is just the beginning.

Happy Father's Day

I miss my daddy so much!  It's just not the same without his smile and all the aggravation he gave me.  I hate that he will not get to know Cora Jane on this side of Heaven, but I know that he will be looking down on her.  I would love to see him spoil a little granddaughter.  She will know about her Pop though.  Today I remember all the memories of my sweet daddy.  I love you!

I want to wish my sweet husband who is a daddy-to-be a Happy Father's Day too!  I was very much a daddy's girl and I hope that Cora Jane has you wrapped around her little finger just like I had my dad wrapped.  I pray that you have the type of relationship that my dad and I did.

25 Weeks!

I'm 25 weeks!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 25 Weeks
Size of baby: Cora Jane is the size of an eggplant.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: So far I've gained 9 pounds, but I'm sure it's more since my last doctor's visit.
Maternity Clothes:Donny's t-shirts have been by best friend while being at home.  I've used my shorts a lot because it is SO hot outside.
Gender: It's a GIRL! Cora Jane (double name)
Stretch Marks: Thankfully none yet! I put lotion on every morning and evening.
Belly button in or out: It is still in!
Movement: She moves all the time.  I love for her to get going at night when Donny can feel her.
Sleep: Sleep is good as long as my back or hips are not hurting.
What I miss: I miss being able to just bend over to pick something up or put lotion on my legs.  It's becoming a chore.
Cravings: I still can't go without lemonade!!! I haven't had my Da1ry Queen ice cream yet, but I'm trying to convince myself I don't need one.  This week I've wanted pizza and mexican.
Symptoms: My back and hips are still bothering me.
Best Moment this week: We went to the high-risk doctor on Monday and everything was perfect.  The doctor was a little disappointed that we couldn't scare him more.  (Not really, but he did joke around with us.)  Thank you for all the prayers for our little girl!

Cora Jane is already being spoiled!  Here are a few things that people have already given us:

The diaper bag matches the colors I'm using in her room perfectly.
We are already starting to collect the Auburn attire!
I love the barn animal toys that can attach to her car seat.

These are the two things that I've made her so far.  I've got lots of designs to use.

These are the fabrics that I'm going to use in her room minus a stripe that has the same colors with a little bit of blue.  I'm getting ready to place that order soon.

24 weeks!

I'm 24 weeks!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 24 Weeks
Size of baby: Cora Jane is the size of a papaya.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: So far I've gained 9 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: I have enjoyed the shorts that I bought before we left for the beach.  I also had a sweet lady for school/church let me borrow her maternity clothes.
Gender: It's a GIRL! Cora Jane (double name)
Stretch Marks: Thankfully none yet!  I put lotion on every morning and evening.
Belly button in or out: It is still in!
Movement: She has been so active this past week.  I was sitting on the couch Saturday and I told Donny that I thought she did a somersault in my belly.  It was the strangest, but sweetest feeling.
Sleep: I'm still sleeping really well and even better since we got a king size bed!!!
What I miss: I missing only having to wash my clothes once a week.  Because I'm limited on clothing I have to wash clothes every couple of days.  I guess it's just getting me prepared for the mounds of clothes I will have when our little girl gets here.
Cravings: I still can't go without lemonade!!!  I've wanted Da1ry Queen ice cream all week and chips and salsa.
Symptoms: My back and hips hurt at times, but nothing unbearable...yet!  It probably hasn't helped that I've been cleaning around the house.
Best Moment this week: We got Cora Jane's crib put up in her room.  And Donny and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary.

23 weeks!

I'm 23 weeks!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 23 Weeks

Size of baby: Cora Jane is the size of a papaya.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I've gained a total of 9 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: I needed a swimsuit for the beach so I went to M0therh00d Materity and got several items that I hope will last me through the summer.  I bought 3 pairs of shorts, 2 tops, and a swimsuit.

Gender: It's a GIRL! Cora Jane (double name)

Movement: I'm beginning to think that she is going to be like me and my dad.  She is very active in the morning time.  My dad and I were always early to rise.  She moves throughout the day, but is most active in the morning and at bedtime.
Sleep: My sleep has been great!!

What I miss: My clothes!
Cravings: Lemonade is my best friend along with water of course.  I craved Da1ry Queen while at the beach and it was so good.  The seafood at the beach was amazing and hit the spot.
Symptoms: Just a backache here and there and a few other symptoms I'll leave off the blog.

Best Moment this week: We went to our regular doctor on Wednesday and we got to listen to Cora Jane's heartbeat.  It sounded perfect!!!  Praise the Lord!!  We go to the speacialist next Monday as a precaution.
